Touching
Dear belly touchers,
I don’t know where you suddenly came from. You seem to pop out everywhere. Like a plague.
Some of you I just met and some of you I have known for quite some time. But never before you revealed yourselves as being belly touchers.
When exactly did my belly turn into a magnet, attracting your touchy hands? Was it week 20? Week 25? Week 30? I cannot remember.
But I can tell you exactly who is allowed to touch the belly without asking: that’s me, and Mr. Sweety. And the midwife.
So please, do me a little favor and ask if I’m OK with you touching the belly before you actually place your hands on my belly. Otherwise? I might just respond by touching you in weird places too. See how you like that. * squeeze *
Thanks,
Sweety & her hormones
I'm too lazy for my blog, too lazy for my blog, too lazy...
(I must have put that song in some of your heads *grin*) The promised belly picture post:
Okay, you are probably wondering: is Sweety getting lazy or WHAT?
Yep. I'm guilty. Too lazy to stand up to get my belly picture taken by my wonderful husband.
So here's the belly at 29 weeks... plus a hairy red 4-legged animal trying to get in the belly. Or kill what's in the belly. Or just being its' annoying self and wanting to be the center of the picture.

But hey, it's not like I have to still arch my back a bit to show off my belly. It's Mount Everest! Our cat climbed Mount Everest. He's going to be SO famous.

No belly here, but a gorgeous blanket Chrishawn made us for our wedding! How sweet is that! It arrived in the mail last week. It's already my favorite blanket. We love it, thanks girlfriend! She also send some sweets with it. I never had a tootsie before. But, YUMMY! I must have one now. Right NOW. Bye!

*runs off to kitchen*
Time, school, doors, rooms, Nate Berkus, married!
It seems every post of mine lately start with ‘sorry for being such a stranger, I’m back’. I’m not sure if this is going to be a tradition. I hope not!
Since we’re back from our Hawaii trip we have been seriously busy or tired. So, what have we been up too? The last 30 days in a nutshell:
First: what’s the time?
Hello 12 hour time difference! We still had like 5 days before we had to go back to work again. Those day were the craziest. We had SO much problems sleeping at night and NOT sleeping during the day. Those 5 days I had an average sleep of 3 hours. I was exhausted.
But there was a cure: WORK.
Who actually though that work is a medicine for jetlag (or anything for that matter)? After 2 days of being forced into the working rhythm: the jetlag was gone.
You mean, next week are school exams?
Preparing our trip, wedding and not to mention the arrival of iBaby has taken up a little of my attention. Tuesday after we came back from our trip I had to go to school. And I think my heart skipped a few beats when the teacher said: "So, this was our last class, good luck studying for your school exams next week."
Not only did I have exams, I also had to finish a paper I hadn’t even started working on yet. But I made it through. I think I passed the exams and I managed to send in my paper.
iRoom for iBaby
IBaby’s room was ‘doorless’. So my dad and Mr. Sweety together put in a door. Because everyone has a right to a door, right? Yay for my favorite men in the world!
We also rearranged our entire house. And made a 2 bedroom apartment our of a one bedroom apartment. And actually? We did not do a bad job at it. We don’t need Nate Berkus! (yeah, Oprah made it to Dutch TV a longgg time ago too).

Speaking of iBaby
We have to see our midwife every 3 weeks now. And we found out last time that iBaby is in a bit of a hurry. iBaby is already 1,5 to 2 weeks ahead of his or hers ehmm schedule. I don’t quit know what to do with that information. I promise belly pictures ASAP, because my cute belly is rapidly growing into a BIG belly. I can’t believe it is still another TWELVE weeks.
We’re married!
Last week our license arrived. Woohoo! ? Now we have to wait on the certificate with an apostil stamp so we can make our wedding legal here too.

Speaking of being married
I have to get used to my new name! Answering the phone is SO weird now.
Our last 30 days in a nutshell. I’m making sure I’m heading for more quiet times until iBaby arrives. Because I am truly a tad exhausted.
