I'm Nadine. Mother to the Monkey (2 years) and his baby sister (born this January) and married to my wonderful loving husband FreezeM.. I was born August 8 1978, so I'm ... almost 30 (eeeek)! I work part time, although now I am enjoying my parental leave until this summer!

Dry, by Augusten Burroughs

My husband got me a new book from my favorite author Augusten Burroughs for Christmas. I can not wait to start reading it.

The China Study, by T. Colin Campbell.

A must reed for anyone intrested in food and nutrition. The book continues to be an eye opener. I never realized there was so many proof to what food can do to keep you healthy or that it can kill you. *****

Sellevision: A Novel, by Augusten Burroughs

I LOVE Augusten Burroughs. His books make me laugh out loud in a crowded public transport. Though slightly embarrising, it is nothing compared to what his characters go through in his books. *****

Happy birthday, little baby toddler

Tim turned one today. I am proud beyond words. And not just because he made his first steps last Friday! I'll post a letter to Tim (just like the 3 month and 6 month letter) a little later this week.

His real party is this Saturday. Any fun ideas for a baby birthday party?

We got him a car! He loves to walk with it. He's a bit to small to actually ride it.

A sign of life

We're moved (last Saturday) and my exams are over. Moving and exams in the same week? CRAZY.

Here are a few pics of the new - and SO not done - house:

Kitchen! Which is my favorite part of the house.

Tim enjoying lunch in the new kitchen. Yes that's broccoli. He LOVES it!

That's it for now!

Still a GAZILLION things to do. Like buying curtains! Hanging up some shelves. Another trip to our own home improvement store will kill me. Seriousely.

But the most important part is: we're moved.

Is the house done?

I am going grazy! We're packing, I'm going to school, busy on finding a good project for my final paper AND we'r still VERY busy in the new house.

It's now 8 AM. I just went into Tim's room to wake him up. And than I thought... why wake him? Why wake a sleeping baby? :) This is probably the only few minutes of Nadine time. So I thought I'd use that and post some pictures.

I miss blogging. Writing about my days and visiting your blogs help me to stay sane. But with all stuff going on, I bearly have time to breathe. I promise, I will get back into blogging. For now, just a few pics:

Yep. Purple.

That's it for now. Good timing: I hear Tim just woke up and wants his mommy. Gotta run!
