I'm Nadine. Mother to the Monkey (2 years) and his baby sister (born this January) and married to my wonderful loving husband FreezeM.. I was born August 8 1978, so I'm ... almost 30 (eeeek)! I work part time, although now I am enjoying my parental leave until this summer!

Dry, by Augusten Burroughs

My husband got me a new book from my favorite author Augusten Burroughs for Christmas. I can not wait to start reading it.

The China Study, by T. Colin Campbell.

A must reed for anyone intrested in food and nutrition. The book continues to be an eye opener. I never realized there was so many proof to what food can do to keep you healthy or that it can kill you. *****

Sellevision: A Novel, by Augusten Burroughs

I LOVE Augusten Burroughs. His books make me laugh out loud in a crowded public transport. Though slightly embarrising, it is nothing compared to what his characters go through in his books. *****

Q&A 14: My worst habit…

Or: “When it’s in your head, it’s not in your butt”.

I really don’t think I have a “worst” habit (I’m laughing now, because “worst” actually means “sausage” in Dutch. I do not have any (bad or good) habits involving sausages what so ever!!!)

Sweety’s list of bad baaaaah baaaah baaaahd habits:

1. Let’s do this! And this! And this! I’m always starting new things and not finishing them. I do it at home, at work, with friends. It’s really bad. I just LOVE to create things and then leave it at that. Doing things for a longer period bore me. It’s a freakin’ miracle I’m blogging this long AND still enjoying it. Don’t even start about my 101 list! I promise one day I’ll finish it!

2. Something in my butt? I asked Mr. Sweety what he thought my worst habit is. He said: (a Dutch saying, Shut up!) “When it’s in your head, it’s not in your butt”.
Uhum. He meant by that, that when I want something, I’d do anything (including nagging) to get it. NOW. Like the day I we decided Simba needed a kitty friend to play with, I practically ran to the animal shelter to get our cat Moby.

3. Everything can always be better. I can be a bit of a perfectionist. But I’m also a bit…

4. … lazy so therefore #3 isn’t really a bad bad habit; it solves itself.
“That has got to be perfect!! But *yawn* must rest now”

Don’t ask me why I used a picture of a goat. You can blame it either on the fact that I didn’t want to post a picture of my butt (sorry guys) or on the fact that I love to take animal photos. I could of course have posted NO picture and blame it on #4. But #3 made me put a photo up because a photo Q&A without a photo would just not be perfect.

Q&A 15: My guilty pleasure

Candy. Pastries. Sweets. Pringles. Peanuts. Pistachio nuts. Cheese. Pies. Cookies. Ben & Jerry’s. Cakes. Nachos, Nachos & Nachos. Candy bars (especially those miniature ones mmm). Chocolate. Cadbury’s Crunchie (oh my god, if chocolate is indeed a substitute for sex, a Crunchie must be like a ..). Strawberries with whipped cream. Bonbons. Popcorn. French cheese on little pieces of toast.

I love to cuddle up on the couch with Mr. Sweety, watch a good movie and enjoy all the yummy things I can buy in our grocery store. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

It´s a Harry Potter kind of miracle I´m not fat.

Q&A 16: When I look at someone, the first thing I see is...

... the expression. I wanted to say eyes first, but I mean the expression; eyes, smile, wrinkles, the whole deal.

Q&A 17: I think ... is beautiful

.. Moby. Yes our cat. I could have answered life, nature, flowers, love, etc. But really, the first thing I think of is Moby. She’s our little princess; it’s too bad the tiara won’t stay on her head.

The Photographic Interview

I never realized there were SO MANY bandwagons to jump on in Blogiverse. Finally Sweety gets of her lazy butt and joins in on the Q&A photo thing! I’ve decided to do it in reverse and start with question #20 (I’m stubborn like that). You’ll find the 20 questions in the read more and here. Let me know if you’re doing it too, I’m curious!

Oh, and bets can be placed: Will I finish this just like I not finished my 101 things about Sweety..
